TRAINING STANDARDS Pilots who conduct BVLOS missions in the Specific or Certified categories will need to be highly skilled and trained to the highest standards. BVLOS COURSE STRUCTURE Similar to pilot training for the airlines, you will wear your Flyby Pilot uniform when you attend our facility in Leicestershire over the 4 week course. During the inital 2 weeks of groundschool you will study the regulations, technical solutions and human factors challenges of BVLOS drone flying. We then undertake a simulator phase to build your skills and confidence before moving on to a mixed phase of simulation and live flying of large VTOL aircraft. At the graduation ceremony you will be awarded your wings and certificates.
